1. Bennett and his crack. Mum Mums. Thankful for the ability to stop a baby from whining... for a few minutes. It may be "bribery", but it works. Don't judge me.
2. This is our new thing. Morning breakfast dates. In between first nap and second nap.
3. Thankful that we are just a quick trip to visit Dad on days when we need to get out of the house. It's cheap entertainment!
4. Started watching The Hills series for the... thousandth time this week. Never gets old.
5. There is simply no place like home! Made this and put it up in our house this week. Yes, that is the province of Saskatchewan.

1. We got home from a great vacation in Ontario visiting family & friends --- but it was so good to get home and back into the swing of things! Bennett was happy to be back in his jolly jumper.
2. I made this poster after I was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest. Now I just need to find a frame for it!
3. Bennett started sleeping on his stomach. He sleeps through the night, which isn't new, but his naps have been getting longer - which I like!
4. Someone is moving up in the world! Traveling around town has been much nicer this week now that I don't have a crying baby the whole time! :D
5. Annnd... this week I spent sometime reflecting on our first Christmas as a family. It was great!

1. Another youth formal come and gone! It was a great night. Love our youth group, and all of our leaders. We are so blessed.
2. This is the first year that I have prepared a CHRISTMAS CARD. It may be because Bennett is here, or it could be because I am addicted to Pinterest. But this year, I thought it was neccessary to have a Christmas card. I was going to have a professional pic taken of him, and one of us as a family, but it just wasn't in the finances this year - so I made my own. Once he stopped gnawing on the live wires, and looked up at the camera I managed to get a good shot! I winged it in photoshop, and came up with this. It works!
3. I decided to go through some boxes of clothes in the basement - because I have been buying stuff from Value Village since I found out I was having a boy. I found a whole box of 6-12 month old stuff, which is awesome because all of B's shirts were too short in the arms!
4. We got to hang out with some friends this week, and played Pictionary. It was so much fun, even for the 2/4 of us that despise playing games.
5. Baby leg warmers. On my wish list. Ridiculously priced - so we made our own. It's amazing the variety of socks they have at Dollarama. I was just there quickly picking up some paint, and bought a few pairs on a whim, with the hopes that my vision would become reality.

1. I had the pleasure of attending another Elim Christmas production this week. It was amazing.
2. After WEEKS of trying to find this rocking horse, I found the last one at a Walmart across the city! My mom was adamant that Bennett get this for Christmas.
3. I got crafty this week and made some simple pics for our bathroom...
4. I finally fit into my favourite jeans (with out a huge muffin top) Ha! It was exciting.
5. And, finally, I discovered Santa FM this week. I will be cruising to this all Christmas season!

1. Christmas: I set up our small Christmas tree in the corner of our living room, this week. I decided not to bring up all of the Christmas stuff from the basement, because we are going to Ontario on the 17th anyways, and I am not that big of a Christmas decoration person, anyways. Too much work for it to go unappreciated ;)
2. They see him rollin', they hatin': Bennett can roll from back to front, and front to back, now. He often gets stuck and I have to help him out, but it's cute to watch.
3. Nancy: I had a good, long, convo with my oldest and bestest of friends. (I know bestest is not a word.) It was so nice to be reminded how important friendship is. For a long time I have taken her for granted, I have searched high and low for another one like her, (because of distance and years gone by), and it's just not possible. You can't replace family, and she is like a sister to me. I love her dearly, and I am so excited to see her in December.
4. Hair: Gettin' these roots dealt with today. One of my favourite things.
5. Birthday cake: We are celebrating my birthday this weekend, and going to the Keg. I am so excited. I'm also heading out with my co-workers for a girls night, this evening (our version of a Christmas party) Pretty pumped for a weekend of parties!

1. I decided this week to accept it for what it is around here - winter.
2. Bennett got a little "hands on" training in the ministry last night.
3. Sven. Oh, Sven! A little "alter ego" of Matt Eagle. Words can not explain how funny I think this whole thing is. "Yah... Olllllllgah!"
4. Benny decided that we have a new start up time - and it was early. I am trying not to be bitter.
5. Hanging out with my good friend, Lisa today! I love her lots & Matt and I love to tease her relentlessly, because she can take it (I appreciate that). Old pic, but I think it's the only one we have together.

1. I won my clothing club on Monday night, and that means over $300 to spend on myself. I went and looked around the mall for the first time in months, on a mission to spend. Naturally, when I have the money - I can't find anything I want. But, I did walk out with these two iPhone covers. One's fun, for Bennett to smile at during all the picture taking ;), and one is faaaaancy --- you know, for all of those elegant affairs that I attend.
2. Matt & I busted out of the house this week and went to the Youth For Christ banquet. The roast beef was good... but the cheesecake was fantastic!
3. The sun came out this week. I was jonesing. This is the view from my bedroom, love that park and big open sky.
4. Bennett hit the 4 month mark on Thursday!
5. Annnnnnd, how can your week not be good when you get to hang out with this dude everyday! :)

I am linking up with one of my favorite blogs, From My Grey Desk, to highlight 5 things from my week that I enjoyed... just another way to stop and reflect on the good things in life, and all there is to be thankful for!
1. Matt & Bennett dressed up for Halloween. Matt was Mr. Incredible, and Bennett was the Little Lion Man. I went as a Super Awesome Person, so I showed up as myself - naturally.
2. I have been waiting for the day that my little man's feet would be big enough for these Robeez! Success, and they make his Lord of the Dance moves even more slick when he is jolly jumpin'!
3. Today is FRIDAY which means that it's Matt's day off and I have an extra set of hands around the house. Woot.
4. We had a raging fiesta (said like Kristin Cavallari circa 2005). It was our first "play date" at our house, and we had a great time.
5. Halloween had me searching my old albums for childhood costume pics. I found this one of myself (I was probably 5 or 6) from a dress up day at my Grandmas. I was a ballerina-princess-baton twirler. This pic made me smile, and reminded me that I have always been a little quirky, & it's a great thing.
