Wrong Things Right.

“And you shall earnestly remember all the way which the Lord your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and to prove you, to know what was in your mind and heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.” Deuteronomy 8:2

This summer I learned that a lot of things don’t always go as planned. Life can suck, situations can get out of our control, our world can be rocked… and we have a few decisions to make. Will all that junk hold you down? Turn you away from God? Cause you to doubt Him? Or, will it bring you closer to Him? Will you still remain faithful to Him? And, do you really believe what you say you do?

If you had of asked me six months ago if I really trusted God, or if I really believed that He was in control of all things… I would have said yes, with a sketchy response, and a feeling of doubt in my heart. Ask me today, and I will tell you with all that I am that He is a real. He is in control, and if we keep our peace, and continue to trust in Him, He always keeps His word and works out the injustices. He rewards those who diligently seek Him, and He makes wrong things right.

Although CRAP at times, the difficult things have changed me forever, they have strengthened my relationships, and have taught me that with God, I will always make it through. If we do what He asks of us, He will work out all the other stuff. It may not be right away, it may not be in our timing, but sooner or later always comes around, and He always fulfills His promises.

“ For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills.” V.7

The Israelites wandered around in a desert for forty years. God had promised them a good land, and it took them a long time to get there. They doubted and whined for the majority of their journey... and God still kept His promise.

I encourage you too keep trusting God if you are walking through a time like this. He is there, He is working, and He is faithful. He wants good things for your life, and no situation or person can stop Him from the blessing and plan that He has for you… He won’t let you down.

He likes the feisty ones, so hang on, and keep trusting in Him!
